17. Fail-Safe Output

Configures the fail-safe behavior for
outputs.
The analog, pulse, and contact
outputs can be configured.
For the MagneW 2W, the fail-safe
contact output 2 is not available.
Options for the analog output are:
Low: Minimize the output.
High: Maximize the output.
Hold: Keep the analog output at the
value obtaining just before the
critical status condition occurred.
Options for the pulse output are:
Low: Output no pulse.
Hold: Keep the pulse output at the
value obtaining just before the
critical status condition occurred.
Options for the contact output are:
Closed
Open
The fail-safe settings are very
important for overall safety of the
control process. Choose the fail-safe
behavior carefully.
The setting of the contact output is
for abnormal conditions.
If the setting is Closed, contact
output status is Open during normal
operation.
If the setting is Open, contact output
status is Closed during normal
operation.
